Birmingham Royal Ballet held The Maiden of Venice Fundraising Gala on 26th March 2026. The company raised more than £47,000, it said in a press release on 13rd April. The Maiden of Venice is a new work by Artistic Director Carlos Acosta to reinterpret La Bayadère. It is slated to premiere spring 2027.
American Ballet Theatre said on 16th April 2026 that its Music Director Ormsby Wilkins will retire at the end of the 2026 Summer season at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. The Australian took on the position in 2005. David LaMarche, a member of ABT’s music staff since 1998, will succeed him as Music Director.

Sacramento Ballet said on 25th March 2026 that Tilt Helimets will become Artistic Director. The company announced on 10th April its 2026-2027 season, which includes Helimets' new work.
The Royal Ballet School and Freed of London launched a limited-edition dancewear collection celebrate the school's centenary, the school said on 30th March.
