Boston Ballet announces roster, Madoka Sugai joins

Boston Ballet announced the 2025-2026 roster on 18th August 2025.

Among the five joiners is Madoka Sugai, who left the Hamburg Ballett in mid-July. She has joined as a principal dancer.

Other joiners are:

Wan Ting Zhao as principal dancer

Francisco Schilereff as a second soloist

Katie Cerny and Spencer Wetherington as artists of the company

The company also announced the appointment of Philip Neal as Artistic Assistant Director. Neal will join Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen in October.
