Christopher Wheeldon launches production company

Internationally acclaimed and super popular choreographer Christopher Wheeldon launched a production company, he said in his Instagram post on 13th November 2025.

Wheeldon said;

"It’s launch day! So excited to announce the first day of a our company ‘Toy Theater Productions’. Thrilled and honored to be collaborating with my two colleagues and great friends Tobias Round and Jillian Vanstone on this exciting new venture."

According to Broadway News, Toy Theater Productions plans to commission and produce works of theatre, dance, music and film, as well as producing its own creations.

In addition, the company "will also invest in commercial theater, dance, TV and film projects, commission and acquire rights and develop intellectual property," Broadway News said.

Wheeldon is known for ballet works such as Winter's Tale, Alice's Adventure in the Wonderland and Like Water for Chocolate.

Wheeldon is also a two-time Tony Award winner for Best Choreography, for his work on musicals An American in Paris and MJ the Musical.
