Dutch National Ballet soloist publishes a book

The Dutch National Ballet Soloist Nina Tonoli has published a book titled Dagboek van een ballerina (Lannoo Uitgeverij).

Nina is from Ghent, Belgium. She joined the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as Soloist in 2019. Previously, she danced with the Wiener Staatsballett (Vienna State Ballet) in Austria.

According to the excerpts on the publisher's page, in the book, whose title means Diary of a ballerina in English, Nina shares how her dream and hard work to step onto the centre stage started at a young age, as well as a glimpse of the professional ballet world behind the scene. Equally importantly, the book also shares how she loves to dance after all the superhuman hard work.

The book is written in Dutch, and available as a paperback and an e-book. The publication date is 18th August 2025.
