Elisabeth Tonev, Violetta Keller to join Bayerisches Staatsballett as Principals

Elisabeth Tonev and Violetta Keller will join the Bayerisches Staatsballett as Principals for the 2025-2026 season, the Munich, Germany, -based company said in its Instagram posts on 17th April 2025.
Tonev is currently Soloist of the Dutch National Ballet. Keller is Principal Dancer of the Finnish National Ballet.

Bayerisches Staatsballett has lost Principals Madison Young and António Casalinho, and Soloist Margarita Fernandes to the Vienna State Ballet as Alessandra Ferri becomes Artistic Director of the Austrian company in September.
