Introducing waist down ombre wrap skirts

I have received quite a few enquiries since the launch of the ombre skirts if I could do the waist-down gradients. They have finally arrived. Thank you for the long wait.

WHY IS THE PRICE?

It is not cheap. Why? Let me start with the ombre fabric used before. The ombre chiffon fabric that are available in the regular market is dyed vertically like the image below. The scales and colours are preset. I cannot change them.

The wrap skirts are, in contrast, cut in a variation of U shapes. That is why the ombre wrap skirts used to look like these images below.

The conclusion is that the ready-made ombre fabric is cost effective but it does not give you much stylistical freedom.

Waist-down gradient ombre, on the other hand, appears flat horizontal gradients when it is worn as a wrap skirts. But the gradients need to be printed on fabric in half-moon shapes like below. This means the fabric needs to be designed from the scratch and bespoke-printed because they are not available in the regular market. That's why waist-down ombre wrap skirts are a little more expensive but gives you freedom to choose colours.

The above design is bespoke printed on fabric, then cut and sewn like below. The finished product is the first image in this article.

In addition to the popular ombre colours here, you can customise your own ombre with up to three colours or shades of your choice for the Extra-long, High-low, Long, Mid and Signature Cut ™ styles, and two colours or shades of your choice for the Short, Extra-short and Fishtail styles.

The fabric base is 100% polyester crepe georgette. The weight is 100gsm, which means the finished skirts will be moderately sheer but not too sheer. Lighter-weight sheer chiffon is available upon request.

Custom ombre leotards and two-panel mesh skirts are already available.

HOW TO ORDER

If you pick an ombre print from the regular collection, please place an order and note the colours for me.

If you want to customise ombre from the scratch, contact me in advance. The cost is already included to the price. This process will be done via email exchanges because integrating ombre creation tools into the shop would be very costly and I hate to pass avoidable costs onto customers. Please note there may be additional charges if you want to customise skirt lengths.

All ombre orders for skirts and leotards may take 3-6 weeks.

All custom ombre fabrics are manufactured and printed in the European Union (EU).

Unlike hand-dip dye, which I did in past, the newly introduced ombre georgette fabric, lycra and mesh are colour fast. Machine wash these leotards and skirts in a laundry net and at a cold temperature or hand wash them. Hang dry is recommended to avoid excessive creasing.

Enjoy more freedom for the head-to-toe coordinates. And dance well, wash well!
