Isabella DeVivo will join Miami City Ballet for the 2026-2027 season from San Francisco Ballet, she said on 3rd August in her Instagram post. Cielo Ibarrola will also join the company from Orlando Ballet, she announced in April.
Béjart Ballet Lausanne said on 4th August that Oana Cojocaru and Angelo Perfido departed the company at the end of the 2025-2026. Oana and Angelo had been with the company since 2007 and 2013, respectively.
Birmingham Royal Ballet said in its Instagram post on 1st August that Maddy Hill-Brown joined Freefall Dance Company.
Opéra National de Bordeaux Ballet said on 10th July that Première danseuse Diane Le Floc’h and Soloist Neven Ritmanic took a final bow on stage in the evening of the same day. The married couple danced the roles of Kitri and Basilio in José Martínez's Don Quixote. They have been introduced as new faculty members at Académie Méditerranéenne de Danse.
La Biennale di Venezia said on 1st August that Wayne McGregor was confirmed as Artistic Director of the Dance department for another two-year period of 2027-2028 by the Board of Directors of La Biennale di Venezia, chaired by Pietrangelo Buttafuoco. The Biennale Danza programme was conceived by Sir Wayne himself and he has been in the position since 2021.
