Royal Winnipeg Ballet cancels all three outdoor shows

Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Canada cancelled all three outdoor shows due to the recent extremely hot weather condition.

The free-admission Ballet in the Park event had been planned for 28th-30th July 2026. After cancelling the first show, the company asked potential attendees to check back its website for updates.

Much to the disappointment of ballet lovers in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the second show was also cancelled.

On the third show, Royal Winnipeg Ballet said on its website;

"Due to the combination of continued high temperatures and the damage sustained to the site during last night’s storm, the Thursday, July 30 show has been cancelled."

The company plans to host another outdoor free-admission event, RWB Revealed, on 19th-21st August.
