Svetlana Zakharova appointed head of Bolshoi ballet academy
Svetlana Zakharova was appointed Rector of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography on 2nd April 2026, the academy announced on the same day.
The Ukraine-born Bolshoi Theater principal dancer had worked as Acting Rector of the Bolshoi ballet since September 2024.
