The National Ballet of Canada announced its 2026-2027 season, which marks the company’s 75th anniversary, on 10th February 2026.
The season features:
Romeo and Juliet by John Cranko
Emergence / Silent Screen double bill featuring Cristal Pite, and Sol León and Paul Lightfoot
The Nutcracker by James Kudelka
Echos of Stravinsky featuring Christopher Wheeldon, George Balanchine and Medhi Walerski
World premiere of Dr. Coppélius: Val Caniparoli will reimagine Coppélia.
The Beginning of Forever: David Dawson's first original creation for The National Ballet of Canada since being appointed Resident Choreographer
The Sleeping Beauty by Rudolf Nureyev
