The National Ballet of Canada announces 2026-2027 season

The National Ballet of Canada announced its 2026-2027 season, which marks the company’s 75th anniversary, on 10th February 2026.

The season features:

• Romeo and Juliet by John Cranko

• Emergence / Silent Screen double bill featuring Cristal Pite, and Sol León and Paul Lightfoot

• The Nutcracker by James Kudelka

• Echos of Stravinsky featuring Christopher Wheeldon, George Balanchine and Medhi Walerski

• World premiere of Dr. Coppélius: Val Caniparoli will reimagine Coppélia.

• The Beginning of Forever: David Dawson's first original creation for The National Ballet of Canada since being appointed Resident Choreographer

• The Sleeping Beauty by Rudolf Nureyev
