The Norwegian National Ballet announces 2026-2027 season

The Norwegian National Ballet announced its 2026-2027 season programme on 4th May 2026.

• Dance Hall by Sol León and Paul Lightfoot

• Anna Karenina by Christian Spuck

• The Nutcracker by Kaloyan Boyadjie

• The Jewels by George Balanchine

• Worried by Alan Lucien Øyen

• Light of Passage by Crystal Pite

The upcoming season will be shorter than a regular season, starting from August 2026 and ending in March 2027. The main stage of the Opera House in Oslo will be closed for April-October 2027 for technical upgrade works. The ballet and opera will tour nationally during the main stage closure. The tour dates will be released in fall 2026.
