The Royal Ballet announced the company promotions, joiners and leavers for the 2026-2027 season, the company said in a news release on 10th July 2026.

Promotions
Taisuke Nakao to First Soloist.
Nadia Mullova-Barley, Ella Newton Severgnini, Charlotte Tonkinson, Marianna Tsembenhoi, Harrison Lee and Marco Masciari to Soloist.
Martin Diaz, Luc Foskett and James Large to First Artist
Leavers
First Soloist Valentino Zucchetti as announced earlier in July
First Artist Katharina Nikelski, who was on leave to earn an MBA, to pursue new professional opportunities
2025-2026 Aud Jebsen dancer Joe Parkinson has secured a contract with Ballet Zurich
Associate Pianist Anastasia Matkovskaia
Joiners
Patricio Revé as Principal as announced in January. He has already been dancing with the company as a Guest Artist
Aurora Chinchilla, Shani Moran-Simmonds, Yuki Nagayasu, Amos Child and Tristan-Ian Massa as Artists from the 2025-2026 Aud Jebsen programme
Maia Rose Roberts, a 2025 Royal Ballet School graduate, as an Artist following two seasons with Ballet Zurich
Alecsia Maria Lazarescu, Emma Lucano, Sophie Schulten, Millán de Benito, Ivan Malaguti and Fabrizzio Ulloa Cornejo to join the Aud Jebsen Young Dancers Programme from The Royal Ballet School, as announced by the school on 7th July.
William Gyvesas as the Prix de Lausanne dancer, as the competition organisers announced in May.
Ewan Gilford as a full-time Pianist with the Company
