World Ballet Day to return in October 2026
World Ballet Day 2026 is happening on Thursday, 29th October, The Royal Ballet said in a news release on 24th September 2026.
This year's World Ballet Day, themed How Stories Are Made, will showcase The Royal Ballet's live stream and filmed content from ballet companies around the world.
"Storytelling from the international ballet community illuminates the path from studio to stage," The Royal Ballet, the main organiser of the annual event, said in the news release.
The Royal Ballet will live broadcast the company class, starting at 11:30 am GMT, followed by filmed content of rehearsing and coaching. The London, the UK, -based company's broadcast can be watched on its YouTube channel and World Ballet Day's website https://worldballetday.com/.
