Aaron Robinson, currently Principal of San Francisco Ballet, will rejoin Houston Ballet.
Robinson said in his Instagram post on 30th April 2025, "I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be rejoining Houston Ballet this July! I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing my growth as an artist under the inspiring leadership of Julie Kent and Stanton Welch.. I’m truly excited for this next chapter at Houston Ballet and can’t wait to perform for the wonderful Houston audiences once again."
"I will forever be grateful to Helgi Tomasson for giving me the opportunity to dance with San Francisco Ballet."
He did not mention what rank he would hold in Houston, Texas.
This is the same day as San Francisco Ballet announced the 2025-2026 season and published the company roster. But I had missed Robinson's post.
HOUSTON BALLET 2025-2026 SEASON
Houston Ballet's upcoming season includes John Cranko's Onegin, the Rock, Roll and Tutus triple bill (I personally fancy this one) , Stanton Welch's Sylvia, the Broken Wings triple bill, the An Evening with Stars triple bill and Stanton Welch's Giselle.
