Ashley Bouder joins ballet school as executive director

Former New York City Ballet Principal Ashley Bouder has landed on a new job. The executive director of a ballet school in Connecticut, the United States.

"It is an honor and pleasure to have accepted the helm of Eastern Connecticut Ballet as its new Executive Director," Ashley announced in her Instagram post on 8th August 2025.

The school also announced her appointment a day earlier.

Ashley retired from stage in February after 25 years with New York City Ballet. She then quickly launched a website for activism.
