Dansersfonds ‘79 awards Conny Janssen, Dutch National Ballet dancers

The Dansersfonds ‘79 foundation awarded Conny Janssen Danst and Dutch National Ballet dancers this year, the organisation announced on 16th October 2026.

Edo Wijnen and Erica Horwood with Dutch National Ballet and Yanaika Holle, who has been dancing with Conny Janssen Danst since 1999, received Prijs van Verdienste, or the Award of Merit. Louisella Vogt, another Dutch National Ballet Dancer received Aanmoedigingsprijs, or the Encouragement Award. Horwood left at the end of the last season after 20 years dancing with the company.

The Dutch foundation was founded by Alexandra Radius and Han Ebbelaar in 1979 to celebrate their own 20th dance anniversary.

They will perform in the annual Nederlands Balletgala on 2nd November in Amsterdam. This year's gala is dedicated to choreographer David Dawson.
