Auditions: Ballet BC, Nederlands Dans Theater

BALLET BC, Canada

Ballet BC is holding auditions for the 2026-2027 season. The Vancouver-based company is looking for Full-Time Artists, who have a few years of professional experience, and Emerging Artists, who have recently completed or are in process of completing dance training.


The application deadline is 6 pm, 17th October, local time.


The invitation-only auditions will take place in:

  • New York City, NY, the USA on 7th December

  • Vancouver, BC, Canada 14th December

  • Germany (location TBC) on 1st February 2026

NEDERLANDS DANS THEATER, The Netherlands

Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) is holding auditions for NDT1 and NDT2 for the 2026-2027 season.


NDT1

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience and must be born before 12 January 2003.

  • Your headshot

  • Your CV

  • A short motivational statement – In no more than 300 characters can you tell us why you would like to join NDT 1 and what you would contribute to the company.

  • A video (10 minutes maximum in length) including: excerpts of contrasting contemporary repertoire and 1 to 2 minutes of uninterrupted improvisation that displays contrasting phrasing, dynamics, and use of space. (Use YouTube only to upload your video. Do not edit the music in your video. The company prefers to view your excerpts with the original music / score.  In your video you must be clearly visible. NO promotional trailers)


In-person auditions are private and invitation only. An application deadline is not specified.


NDT2

Applicants must be aged between 17 and 23, or born between 12th January 2003 and 13th August 2008.

The application deadline is 19th October.


Only selected applicants from the pre-selection round will be asked to join the NDT 2 audition on 10th  and 11th January 2026 in The Hague, The Netherlands.


They will be provided with directions to the theatre as well as information about hotels or other accommodation by 5th December.
