DUTCH NATIONAL BALLET, the Netherlands

The Dutch National Ballet is accepting applications for its main company and its Junior Company for the 2026-2027. It is rare for the company to hold open auditions for the main company.

The audition for the main company is intended for dancers who have been dancing professionally and dancers who have graduated from dance education. For more details, click here.

The audition for the Junior Company is exclusively intended for classically-trained dancers who will graduate from a professional ballet academy this year or next year. Fore more details, click here.

THE ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL, the United Kingdom

The Royal Ballet School is accepting applications for the UK auditions and international video auditions for the 2026-2027 entry.

The deadline is 14th October 2025 for both auditions.

PHOENIX DANCE THEATRE, the United Kingdom

Phoenix Dance Theatre is looking for one male-identifying contemporary dancer with a strong classical foundation to join the Leeds-based company from January 2026 to June 2027.

Applicants must have minimum of 2 years of experience in a dance company. Due to time constraints, all applicants must have British citizenship or proof showing your Right to Work in the UK.

Opportunities could range from teaching its our weekly classes, delivering outreach workshops in schools and community settings, delivering on intensives and holiday provisions, as well as choreographing for our Phoenix Youth Academy cohorts across the North of England.

BALLET EDMONTON, Canada

Ballet Edmonton is seeking experienced professional and emerging dance artists to join our company as guest artists, full-time company members and apprentices for the 2026-2027 season. The company is looking for dancers with a strong foundation in the classical ballet.

THE NATIONAL BALLET OF CANADA APPRENTICE PROGRAMME, Canada

The National Ballet of Canada is accepting applications for its RBC Apprentice Programme for the 2026-2027 season.

The programme is for for recent graduates of professional ballet institutes who are interested in dancing with The National Ballet of Canada; generally, apprentices are between the ages of 17 – 21 years old.

The application deadline is 1st December 2025.

In-person auditions will be held in Toronto on Sunday, 5th January 2026. All formal invitation to auditions will be sent by email between 18th-23rd December 2025.

The company is also looking for a Communications Coordinator. It is a 19-month full-time contract and the start date is 1st December 2025. The application deadline is 20th October 2025.
