STAATSTHEATER NÜRNBERG, Germany

Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference is looking for classically-trained (including pointe work) dancers of all genders for full-time contracts beginning in September 2026.

  • One video demonstrating classical and contemporary technique (including partnering; no superimposed music), as well as improvisation


The application deadline is 15th December 2025. The invitation-only auditions will take place in Nürnberg on 10th January 2025.

Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett and Richard Siegal/Ballet of Difference merged in September 2025 as Richard Siegal  became the new artistic director of the company at the start of the season.


The merged company is called Nuremberg State Theatre Ballet of Difference.

TANZ_KASSEL, Germany

TANZ_KASSEL, the Contemporary Dance Company at Staatstheater Kassel is looking for contemporary dancers of all genres for the 2026-2027 season.


Applicants must have a minimum of two years of professional experiences and strong ballet techniques.


The application deadline is 31st January 2026. The invitation-only auditions will take place on 7-8th March at Staatstheater Kassel, Friedrichsplatz 15, 34117 Kassel, Germany.

THE ROYAL SWEDISH BALLET, Sweden

The Royal Swedish Ballet (Kungliga Baletten) will hold auditions for company dancers and dancers for its youth programme.


To apply, submit the following materials from this link:

  • Written cover letter expressing your interest

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include nationality, contact information, height, date of birth, and a detailed overview of your education and work experience.

  • Recent unedited videos (important for assessment):

  • Classical variation from the standard repertoire, danced in pointe shoes for female

  • Contemporary variation, from repertoire or own choreography/improvisation that shows range of movement.

  • Barre (3-5 min), showing both sides

  • Center works (3–5 min): Including adagio, pirouettes, petit and grand allegro.

  • Recent photos: One portrait and two full-body dance photos


The application deadline is 15th December 2025. The invitation-only auditions will take place in Stockholm on 7th – 8th February 2026.


Selected candidates will be contacted with more information by 15th January 2026. Even if you are not selected, you will be notified no later than 15th January 2026.

GRAND THÉÂTRE DE GENÈVE, Switzerland

The Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève is looking several full time dancers, with contract starting in August 2026. Candidates must have a background of classical ballet and contemporary dance, with a minimum of three years of experience in a company.
