PHOENIX DANCE THEATRE, the United Kingdom

Phoenix Dance Theatre is seeking professional dancers for the 2026-2027 season.


Due to time constraints, all applicants must have British citizenship or proof showing your Right to Work in the UK.


Please refer to the recruitment pack (download from here) specification and submit the following materials to recruitment@phoenixdancetheatre.co.uk:

  • Your show reel

  • A CV (maximum two sides of A4) or 2-minute video sharing details of your training and other relevant performance experience

  • Your preferred audition location if shortlisted


The subject line should be “Dancer Application – Spring 2026”.


The application deadline is 17:00, 25th May, local time.


The invitation-only auditions will be held in London on 8th June and in Leeds on 10th June.

CAPE BALLET AFRICA, South Africa

Cape Ballet Africa is seeking for vocational pre-professional ballet dancers (age 15+) and professional ballet dancers for short term contracts for its Swan Lake shows.


Auditionees must be available for performances in Johannesburg 7- 30th August and/or in Cape Town 3rd - 14th February 2027.


Email audition@capeballetafrica.com to register for auditions, which will take place on 23rd May in Johannesburg and Cape Town on 30th May.

ŠTÁTNA OPERA, Slovakia

Štátna Opera (State Opera) will hold an audition for a position of solo/chorus men in the ballet company.


To apply, send summary of professional experience and a video / link with a dance demonstratio to dana.dinkova@stateopera.sk


The application deadline is 27th May. Audition will be held on 4th June in the ballet hall of the State Opera, Národná 11, Banská Bystrica.

BALLET THEATRE MALAYSIA

Ballet Theatre Malaysia will hold auditions for dancers for Company Artist positions.


Applicants must be Malaysian or must hold Malaysian Citizenship, and they must be 18 years or older.


To apply, click here and fill in the form. The application deadline is 16th May.


The audition will take place on 17th May. There is a registration fee of RM50, payable by cash, card or QR on the day of the audition.

KLAIPĖDA STATE MUSIC THEATRE, Lithuania


Applicants should have a strong foundation in classical ballet, contemporary dance technique and excellent partnering skills


Application Materials To be considered, please submit following materials to regina.petraviciene@kvmt.lt:

  • Video of a classical ballet class and a variation

  • Contemporary solo video


The application deadline is 31st May. Selected candidates will be invited to the audition at Klaipėda State Music Theatre on 15th June.
