Ballett am Rhein announces 2026-2027 season

Ballett am Rhein, Düsseldorf, Germany, announced its 2026-2027 season earlier in May 2026. The ambitious programme shows two full-length world-premieres by Artistic Director Bridget Breiner and Marcelo Gomes, as well as short new works.
Grey Area triple bill: Shards by Bridget Breiner (set to Jeff Buckley's music), The Grey Area by David Dawson, Threshold of a Fall by Lesley Telford
Forsythe/Eyal double bill: In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated by William Forsythe, Strong by Sharon Eyal
Dance Off: A one evening event showcasing various dance styles
Dornröschen: Breiner's take on classic Sleeping Beauty (trailer below)
Rituale mixed bill: George & Zalman by Ohad Naharin, Black Milk by Naharin, world premiere by Neshama Nashaman, À fleur de peau (world premiere) by Martin Chaix
Antony and Cleopatra by Bridget Breiner (world premiere)
Don Quijote by Marcelo Gomes (world premiere)
