Black British Theatre Awards: Uchenna wins best dance category

The Black British Theatre Awards announced the winners for the 2025 awards on 26th October 2025 in London.

The Best Dancer Production or Performer award was given to Our Mighty Groove, a Sadler’s Wells production with Uchenna Dance. Congratulations!

Choreographed by Uchenna's Artistic Director Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu, the mixed-discipline Our Mighty Groove opened Sadler's Wells East in February this year. Here is the trailer of the production. It looks so groovy. I wish I had been there!
