Leavers, guest artist, appointment: Dutch National Ballet, Ballett Dortmund, The London City Ballet, The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre

Dutch National Ballet said on 15th July that Grand Sujet Erica Horwood would leave after 20 years with the company.

Ballett Dortmund, Germany, announced leavers in a series of Instagram posts in mid-July.

• Francesco Nigro after 13 years with the company. He will transition from ballet to a new career path.

• Lúcio Kalbusch after 7 years with the company.

• NRW Juniorballett members: Teodora Neacsu to join Aalto Ballett Essen, Devon Luxton to join Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Liberty Fergus to join Junior Ballet of Paris Opera Ballet.

The London City Ballet said on 21st July that Eric Pinto-Cata would join its tour to Spain as a guest artist. The company will perform in Madrid on 24th and 25th July. The British dancer is currently with Paris Opera Ballet.

The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre Ballet, the Czech Republic, said on 24th June that Lea Bessoudo Greck would become Artistic Director at the start of the 2026-2027. She will succeed Lenka Dřímalová, who has led the company for 13 years. Dřímalová will continue work as a dramaturge for two premieres in the upcoming season.
