English National Ballet announces 2026-2027 season

English National Ballet (ENB) announced its 2026-2027 season on 18th February 2026.
The season seems a good mix of new and staples. It will open with a triple bill titled Rhythm Riot at Sadler's Wells Theatre in London, the United Kingdom, in September 2026. ENB will perform world premieres by Jae Man Joo and Micaela Taylor, as well as George Balanchine's Symphony in Three Movements for the first time in the company's history.
The new season also features:
Rudolf Nureyev’s Romeo & Juliet
Aaron S. Watkin and Arielle Smith’s Nutcracker at the London Coliseum
Johan Inger’s Carmen in London and Canterbury
Derek Deane’s Swan Lake in-the-round to mark 30 years at the Royal Albert Hall
The guest artists for the next season are:
Associate Guest Artist Ksenia Ovsyanick , former English National Ballet Soloist and Staatsballett Berlin Principal, in Rhythm Riot and Romeo & Juliet at London Coliseum
Paris Opera Ballet Étoile Hugo Marchand in Romeo & Juliet at London Coliseum
Associate Guest Artist Davi Ramos, First Soloist with The Australian Ballet, in Nutcracker
Guest repetiteurs are:
Cynthia Harvey will return as Associate Guest Repetiteur
Stephanie Arndt, Yannick Boquin, Manuel Legris, Elisabeth Maurin, and Alejandro Parente
On the music side with English National Ballet Philharmonic;
Music Director, Maria Seletskaja, conducts across the season
She is joined by Principal Guest Conductor Gavin Sutherland as well as David Briskin, Benjamin Haemhouts, Alec Frank-Gemmill and Benjamin Pope.
ENB also tours nationally with My First Ballet: Cinderella and provide a variety of participation opportunities such as Dance for Parkinson's and Dance for Dementia, as well as open classes.
