English National Ballet suffers third party data breach

English National Ballet (ENB) notified customers that the company was a victim of a third-party data breach in an email on 4th August 2026, in the second such incident this year.

The London-, the United Kingdom, based company said;

"ENB is currently in the process of switching CRM (Customer Relationship Management) services from Tessitura to Beacon. Our new data provider, Beacon CRM, has informed us that they experienced a cyber-security incident that involved unauthorised access to Beacon’s systems.

"During the incident, we were in the process of transferring data from our previous provider to Beacon. As a result, some of your personal information may have been included in the affected data."

The data potentially affected included full names, email addresses, telephone numbers and street addresses. Passwords or payment information are not affected. The timing of the incident was not specified in the email.

ENB also asked customers to verify senders if they received suspicious emails before clicking any links included in these emails.

There is no disruption to ENB's official website.

ENB apologised to customers for the incident. If you are concerned, contact ENB.

In April, ENB suffered from a chain-reaction data breach when Vimeo OTT, which was the platform of the ENB on Demand service, identified a security incident at an analytics vender used by Vimeo and other companies.
