The Royal Ballet Principal Yasmine Naghdi will come back to the Covent Garden stage in an iconic full act ballet in the upcoming 2026-2027 after a maternity leave.

"Manon in Oct will be my comeback xx," Yasmine told me in a message exchange on 29th May 2026.

Congratulations Mummy Yasmine! She and her husband welcomed their first child in December last year.

Kenneth MacMillan's Manon is The Royal Ballet's new season opener. The programme will run from 13th October to 25th November. Yasmine will dance the title role. The exact dates and detailed cast are not yet available.

Earlier this week, I asked Yasmine if I could feature her for the What is your pointe shoe secret? interview series. She told me she was currently working at a maximum capacity preparing for the comeback and taking many interviews requested by other media. But she might be able able to find time to talk to me in autumn. Let's keep fingers crossed.
