Scottish Ballet announced joiners on 6th August in its social media posts. They are Yipeng Xu, Calum Gray, Lewis Formby, Matthew Bates, Rafael Bejarano Vidal, Sebastian Marriott-Smith and William Davolls. All boys!
The Glasgow, the UK, -based company also announced on its website with no date stamp that Patrick Macdonald was appointed Chair of Scottish Ballet’s Board of Directors. He will join the board as of 15th September to replace Jim Pettigrew, who is retiring.
The Pointe Magazine reported on 6th August that Javier Rojas, who left Birmingham Royal Ballet, the UK, at the end of the 2025-2026 season, will join Ballet Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur in France.
Ballet X said in its Instagram post on 9th August that April Watson joined the Philadelphia, the United States, -based company.
