Lithuanian National Ballet promotes Nora Straukaitė to Principal
Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT) has announced the promotion of Nora Straukaitė to the rank of Principal Soloist.
Straukaitė was promoted on stage by Artistic Director Jurgita Dronina following her performance as Kitri in Don Quixote on 20th March 2025, according to their Instagram posts. The promotion is already reflected on the theatre's website.
I believe this is the first promotion at LNOBT since the arrival of Dronina. Congratulations!
