Mariinsky star Viktoria Tereshkina celebrates 25 years with the company
The Mariinsky Theatre hosted a ballet gala to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Viktoria Tereshkina on 10th July 2026.
Ahead of the gala, the theatre said in a news page that the gala includes Ilya Zhivoi's The Seasons, Michel Fokine's Scheherazade and The Enchanted Garden and the pas de trois from Le Corsaire.
Principal Kimin Kim and First Soloist and her husband Roman Belyakov danced as Tereshkina's partners.
Russian Tereshkina graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy into the Mariinsky Ballet 2001. Only five years later in 2006, she was promoted to a Principal.
