The Martha Graham Dance Company has announced that it will move to a new expanded home in the Times Square, New York, in January 2026 as the company celebrates its 100th anniversary.
The New York-based company said on its Instagram post on 16th February 2025;
"GRAHAM100 NEWS!
We are moving to a gorgeous, historic space in Times Square next January - a few months before our 100th birthday!
The Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway was launched in 1926 - the same year Martha launched her company.
We’ll be moving into six beautiful studios with dressing, reception, public, archival, and administrative support spaces!
The new space will be the permanent home of the Martha Graham Center, which encompasses the Graham Company, School, offices, and Resources, which oversees archiving and licensing. This space will also enable us to expand our educational programs in a big way!
We can’t wait to see you all there!

According to Broadway World and Playbill, the company secured a 30-year lease. The space is currently unoccupied. The budget for the relocation project is almost $6 million.
The Martha Graham Company and the Center has been operating at the Westbeth Artists Housing complex since July 2012.
Needless to say, the Martha Graham Company was founded by Martha Graham (1894 – 1991), who revolutionised modern dance. She inspired, trained ad provided the base for many modern dance dancers and choreographers.
Broadway World says, "It is both the oldest dance company in the United States and the oldest integrated dance company."
The Graham technique is studied globally and extensively today. I tried to learn the technique many years ago. I had no clue and I gave up after a class.
