Paris Opera Ballet announces the results of external recruitment competition 2025

Opéra national de Paris announced the results of the external recruitment competition 2025 for the Paris Opera Ballet and the Junior Company on 18th July 2025.

Sarah Barthez and Hector Jain have been admitted to the Paris Opera Ballet Company as corps de ballet members.

Camille Couton, Nuria Fernandes, Anastasia Gallon, Lucia Abril Marcucci, Giovanni Bellucci, Tiziano Cerrato, Hyuma Gokan, Matt Vuaflart and Carlo Zarcone have been admitted to the Paris Opera Junior Ballet.

The news release also said Yoon Seo Lee, Junsu Lee and Sergio Napodano, who were currently members of the Junior Ballet, have been offered fixed-term contracts with the Paris Opera Ballet Company for the 2025-2026 season. As a result, the Junior Ballet recruited nine dancers while it had initially planned to admit six dancers only.

Paris Opera Ballet Artistic Director José Martinez said on 16th July the following dancers were also joining the company: Manon Baranger, Camillo Petochi, Jeanne Larcheveque, Anaïs Morin, Alyssia Ferreira, Marcos Sousa and Hadrien Moulin.
