Paris Opera Ballet Étoile Ludmila Pagliero to retire in April

Ludmila Pagliero will retire in April as Paris Opera Ballet’s Étoile, after dancing with the company for more than 20 years, she announced in her Instagram post on 14th December 2024.
Pagliero’s adieu will be on 17th April 2025 at the Palais Garnier. She dances The bidet in Mats Ek’s Apartment.
“Ending my career with my “bidet” in Mats Ek’s Apartment is a circle that closes. I was nominated “Étoile” when I first danced this beautiful piece,” the Franco-Algentina dancer said.
Pagliero is also casted as Tatiana in Onegin in February.
Pagliero joined Paris Opera Ballet as a member of the Coprs in 2003. She was named Danseuse Étoile in March 2012 after she performed Gamzatti in Nureyev’s La Bayadere.
