Precious Adams shows precious tears in podcast interview

Precious Adams, First Solosist of the English National Ballet, shows her personal side in the Texture Talks podcast interview published in early May 2025.

What I find interesting is this podcast, hosted by Paige Lewin, talks about career, life, experience, love and other things in terms of hair. How unusual. And I enjoyed it.

Precious has often attracted media attention in the socio-political context, for example, being a black ballet student in Moscow, Russia, and wearing brown tights instead of traditional light pink. It must have been a little difficult and stressful for her as a teenage aspiring ballerina and as a young professional.

But as hardcore ballet lovers, we all already know these news coverage. In this 21-minute interview, the phenomenal dancer talks about back stories that were not in newspapers.

Towards the end of the interview Precious sheds tears while smiling broadly. Lewin cries. And I cried. Have a look and cry!
