Promotion: Finnish National Ballet, Boston Ballet

Finnish National Ballet (Ooppera Baletti) announced on 30th March 2026 that Giulio Diligente was promoted to the rank of the 1st Solo Dancer, following his performance as Basilio in Don Quijote. In December last year, he was awarded the Outi and Jan Vapaavuori Foundation Dance Prize, which is given to a young dancer with the company once every two years.
Boston Ballet announced promotions for the upcoming 2026-2027 season on 8th April 2026.
Sangmin Lee: promoted to Principle Dancer
Alexandria Heath, Emma Topalova, Alexis Workowski, Schuyler Wijsee: promoted to second soloists
Natalia Cardona, Sophia Jones, Pavel Kulev, Alexander Mockris: Promoted to artists of the company from Boston Ballet II.
Jordan Crotty, Eden Young, Jake Marshall: promoted to Boston Ballet II from graduate programme.
