Stuttgart Ballet announces 2026-2027 season

The Stuttgart Ballet, Germany, announced its 2026-2027 season on 13th May 2026. In addition to the company's signature John Cranko, the new season's highlights include David Dawson's new work and the For Maurice mixed programme to celebrate Maurice Béjart's centenary. The great choreographer Béjart was born in January 1927. The company also celebrates Marcia Haydée's 90th birthday in July 2027.

  • Creations XVI-XIX contemporary choreography programme: creations by Nnamdi Nwagwu, Demis Volpi, Vittoria Girelli, Sasha Riva & Simone Repele

  • For Maurice mixed programme featuring Maurice Béjart's work: Gaîté Parisienne (based on ideas presented by Jacqueline Cartier), Songs of a Wayfarer, Borelo

  • Our Cranko triple bill: Initials R.B.M.E, Legende, and Opus 1 by John Cranko

  • Ballet Matinee of The John Cranko School

  • Gala for Marcia Haydée's Birthday


In addition, the Stuttgart Ballet hosts behind the scenes events, the International Solo-Tanz Theatre Festival Stuttgart, Noverre: Young Choreographers, Ballet in the Park live broadcasting and Dance Lab.
