The Sarasota Ballet announced joiners and promotions for 2026-2027

The Sarasota Ballet announced joiners and promotions for the 2026-2027 season in its Instagram post on 22nd July 2026.

Joiners:

• Principal Dancers: Misa Kuranaga, who danced with the company as Resident Guest Principal in the 2025-2026 season, Kaitlyn Casey and Andrii Ishchuk

• First Soloist: Sumika Fujiwara

• Corps de Ballet Dancers: Federico Coletti, Robert Mack and Owen Watson

• Apprentice: Annette Darren

Promotions:

• First Soloist: Samuel Gest

• Apprentice: McKibben Needham
