Hamburg Ballett announces 2026-2027 season

The Hamburg Ballett announced its 2026-2027 season on 7th April 2026. In the first full season under the joint interim leadership, the German company will bring back lots of John Neumeier as well as featuring world premieres, company dancers' works and contemporary pieces.
NEW WORLDS double bill: Justin Peck's Copland Dance Episodes (European premiere), a world premiere by Company Principal Edvin Revazov.
MITTSU: a collaboration by three generations of female choreographers, Kristina Paulin, Yuka Oishi and Neshama Nashman, to create a unique work inspired by English writer Virginia Woolf (world premiere)

Cinderella Story by John Neumeier
A Midsummer Night's Dream by John Neumeier
The Little Mermaid by John Neumeier
The Seagull by John Neumeier
Lady of the Camellias by John Neumeier
Saint Matthew Passion by John Neumeier

Wonderland by Alexei Ratmansky
ROMANTIC EVOLUTION/S double bill: La Sylphide by August Bournonville, a world premiere by Company Principal Aleix Martínez
FAST FORWARD mixed bill: Serenade George Balanchine, Dance of Death by Marcos Morau, Annunciation by Angelin Preljocaj, The Moon in the Ocean by Xie Xin
There also will be the Nijinsky Gala, open rehearsals, school performances and community programmes. It is clear of Demis Volpi.
