Liudmila Konovalova has become a Guest Soloist with the Wiener Staatsballett (Vienna State Ballet) for the 2025-2026 season to expand her artistry and international career, she announced on her Instagram post on 2nd September 2025.
The Russian dancer said;
"This is a significant step in my career and a tremendous honor! 🥹🙏🏻
This new status opens up many exciting opportunities for creative growth, new roles, and performances, while allowing me to continue doing what matters most — dancing and being part of the @wienerstaatsoper theater and @wienerstaatsballett company that I deeply love and consider my home."
According to the biography page of the Wiener Staatsballet, Konovalova joined the company in 2010 as a Soloist and was prompted to a Principal Dancer in the following year.
Subsequently, the New English Ballet Theatre (NEBT) announced on 14th September that Konovalova would join the company as Guest Artist for the autumn-winter 2025 season.
That is the second big-name announcement from NEBT for the season. Last month, the company said Royal Ballet First Soloist Valentino Zucchetti would create The Nutcracker, which will be the first full-length ballet for the company.
