Sasha Mukhamedov joins The National Ballet of Canada

The National Ballet of Canada announced the 2026-2027 season dancer roster on 7th July 2026.
Joiners are:
Sasha Mukhamedov as First Soloist joining from San Francisco Ballet
Lillian Casscells, Jane Park and Alyssa Pratt as Corps de Ballet Members
Tom Cape, Karin Laldjising and João Massei as Corps de Ballet Members from the RBC Apprentice Programme
Yu Chia Chang, Bryce Cooper, Elias Fahle Diego, Enrico Fasoglio, Monet Hilliard, Melia Lin, Alexander Stevens and Leanne van der Hilst as Apprentices
Moisés Martín Cintas as a rehearsal director
Additionally, Shale Wagman (Paris Opera Ballet) and Timothy van Poucke (Dutch National Ballet) will appear as Guest Artists. Toronto-born Wagman will dance the role of Prince Florimund in Rudolf Nureyev's The Sleeping Beauty.
Van Poucke will dance in Resident Choreographer David Dawson’s The Beginning of Forever and the role of Prince Florimund in The Sleeping Beauty.
David Dawson is also an Associate Artist of Dutch National Ballet.
The National Ballet of Canada announced promotions, leavers and retirement on 16th June.
The company was founded in 1951 and celebrating its 75th year anniversary in the next season.
