The Australian Ballet announces promotions
The Australian Ballet announced dancer promotions, leavers and a returning artist on 13rd July 2026 in its 2026 mid-year update.
Daniel Bryne, Harrison Bradley and Alexandra Walton from Corps de ballet to Coryphée
Elijah Trevitt from Coryphée to Soloist
Grace Carroll and Samara Merrick from Soloist to Senior Artist
The promotions have been reflected on the company's website. Congratulations! Davi Ramos' promotion to a Principal Artist was announced in May.
Leavers
Coryphée Benjamin Garret has joined the Royal Swedish Ballet. The Royal Swedish Ballet's website shows him as a 2nd soloist.
Soloist Mia Heathcote has joined Ballett Zürich as she announced in her Instagram post in June. Ballett Zürich's website shows she is in the rank of Solo with Group.
Returning
Coryphée Annabelle Watt returned from performing with the American Ballet Theatre during their Met Season at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, the United States.
